Cyber Incident Tabletop Exercises
Speaker: Dmitry Bezrukov — Cybersecurity Consultant and Incident Response Tabletop Exercise Facilitator
Topic: Cyber Incident Tabletop Exercises. Preparing Your Organization to Respond When It Matters Most.
Synopsis: Cyber incidents can disrupt business operations, compromise sensitive data, and challenge an organization’s ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Having an Incident Response Plan is important, but having a plan doesn’t necessarily mean an organization is prepared to execute it.
This presentation explores how Cyber Incident Tabletop Exercises help organizations evaluate their incident response capabilities in a realistic, discussion-based environment. We will cover how tabletop exercises work, who should participate, how to develop relevant scenarios, and how to identify gaps in incident response plans, communication, decision-making, and recovery processes.
Attendees will learn how to turn exercise findings into actionable improvements that strengthen cyber resilience and help their organizations respond more effectively when an incident occurs.
